Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search tool is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Cochise County Court Docket does not keep or record those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be retained so that we can answer it. We do not disclose the message outside our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Normal server and analytics logs may collect technical information when a page loads, including:
- The device's Internet Protocol address
- Browser type and version
- Operating system and device category
- Pages viewed and approximate time spent on them
- The referring website, when one is supplied
- The date and time of each request
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small device files that help measure website use, such as commonly visited pages and where visits end. Analytics providers may combine that traffic information into reports. A browser can reject or remove cookies, although blocking them may change how some website functions behave.
What We Do With This Data
Information collected through ordinary site operations may be used for these purposes:
- Operating, maintaining, and improving page performance
- Routing a submitted search to the appropriate outside service
- Understanding which resources visitors use
- Finding and correcting security or technical problems
- Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Cochise County Court Docket does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case records. Its reference material identifies official sources such as the Cochise County Clerk of the Superior Court, the six Justice Courts, municipal courts, and Arizona Judicial Branch search systems. Official judicial-record access is governed by Arizona Supreme Court Rule 123 and the Arizona Code of Judicial Administration rules for remote access. A.R.S. §12-2201 provides a public-inspection framework, subject to those court-specific rules.
This website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party case profiles.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search tools that appear on the website. Information submitted through such a tool is handled under that company's privacy policy, retention rules, and disclosure practices. We do not control those policies. Review the applicable provider terms before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Cochise County Clerk of the Superior Court, trial courts, Arizona Judicial Branch portals, legal-aid resources, advertisers, or search services. Once a visitor follows an outbound link, the destination's privacy practices control the visit. Its policy should be reviewed before personal information is submitted.
Some advertising providers may use their own technology to measure activity across websites and select ads. That processing occurs through the provider's systems.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be disclosed to:
- Search providers that process a query a visitor submits
- Analytics vendors that measure traffic and performance
- Advertising networks that deliver ads
- Government or law-enforcement authorities acting under valid legal process
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable standard safeguards are used for information within our control. No website or Internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, however. These measures reduce risk but cannot promise that unauthorized access or another security event will never occur.
Users Under 18
The website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If we learn that a minor provided personal data, we will take reasonable steps to remove it.
Your Data Rights
Rights concerning personal data depend on the law that applies to the visitor and the processing at issue. No separate Arizona consumer-privacy statute is claimed here. Subject to applicable law, a visitor may ask us to:
- Provide the personal information we hold about that visitor
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete information that is eligible for deletion
- Honor an available choice concerning certain processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised as site practices or legal requirements change. A revision becomes available on this page, and the effective date is updated so visitors can identify the current version.
